Fundación Educativa Guatemala is a non-profit entity created in 1979 by the founders of Colegio Interamericano, a group of visionary people, whose primary objective was to expand the fully bilingual high-level educational offer in Guatemala. The Foundation is integrated by fiduciaries who manage the foundation through the Board of Directors.
The Foundation promotes educational programs and projects of excellence based on replicable innovative models that continuously and self-sustaining impact on people who want and value quality lay education in Guatemala.
Fundación Educativa Guatemala is the owner of the school´s property and is in charge of all capital development projects. Fundación Educativa Guatemala appoints the Board of Directors.
– Funding for FEG comes from part of the tuition and bonuses received from Colegio Interamericano. All of these are reinvested into Colegio Interamericano’s infrastructure, as well as into other FEG projects with a community impact.
– FEG’a Board is composed of professionals and businessman goal is to further education.
– The most recent major project of FEG is Project Journey, the expansion of Colegio Interamericano. It allows Colegio Interamericano to continue its path toward providing the best possible education to Guatemalan and international children.
